My friend, Ashley, who runs CrossFit Crave www.crossfitcrave.com in Ohio had a great post yesterday that I'm going to share with you all today. She is 5 months pregnant and plans to continue doing CrossFit workouts throughout here pregnancy. As most of you know, I did the same thing, and Annie, is still working out at 7 months pregnant. Nice work ladies! According to her article, our babies are going to be genius's:
"I recently got the lastest e-mail from "what to expect" and found a very interesting article about exercising while pregnant. Here's what it had to say:
"Don't just take it from me — scientific research shows that you're not the only one who benefits from pregnancy exercise. Apparently, babies of moms who exercise throughout pregnancy score higher, on average, on general intelligence tests by age five. So, not only will your workout boost your muscle power but baby's brain power too!"
So basically what I got out of it was...MY BABY IS GOING TO BE A FREAK'N GENIUS! I've been CrossFitting throughout the entire 5+ months and plan to continue. I guess I can invest in a "my kids an honor roll student" bummer sticker and I can stop adding quarters to the college fund because this kid is getting a full academic scholarship to Harvard!"

Skill/Strength 10e For-Rev Lunge with opp KB OH 20 Walkouts WOD With the heat, and weather NOT being on our side again, we will be doing a partner WOD to allow for a little break in the WOD. While 1 person is working, the other one is resting until you finish all the repetitions as noted below.
"PARTNER WORKOUT" 350 Squats 250 Pushups
150 Deadlifts (pick a lighter weight that both you and your partner can both do) I will be the ultimate judge though. 50 Burpees 10 Rope Climbs (20' CAP)
