Training for the GoRuck Challenge (June 15) commences this upcoming Saturday. We shall all meet at the WARF parking lot, near the play ground at 2pm (tentative time, will be confirmed by Friday). If you don't have a Ruck yet, I have posted some inexpensive options on the GoRuck page, that won't break the bank. You don't need to have it for the training sessions, but it is advised, so that you can get adjusted to performing exercises with the weight on your back. The Saturday session, is going to be similar to the Challenge itself with an emphasis on Team work, not individual achievement. So, follow the packing list on the Goruck website and plan on being outside for AT LEAST an HOUR. We are starting small and working our way up.
