OK, I now officially have the energy to describe the Goruck Challenge experience, and "I got nothing." It was everything it says it is and more. It was challenging, but not too challenging where you had to be in elite athletic shape. The biggest crutch you can have is your mind, it will either help you or hurt you. If you are not mentally tough, or trying to become mentally tough... it's not for you. The rewards of completing the challenge is amazing; however, it is also short lived. Your body will feel like you got hit by a ton of bricks. Nothing is broken or hurt, just everything was pushed to its max. I can also say that the cadre, instructors, kept it safe for us, and truly made us work as team. Without working as a team, you will not survive. There is soooooooo much more I can add to this, but alot of you will find out for yourself when we all do the June Washington DC class.
